Singer Robin Thicke accused of child abuse amidst divorce battle

Singer Robin Thicke‘s actress ex-wife Paula Patton has filed for a restraining order limiting Thicke’s access to their 6 year old son, citing child abuse.
The son’s school had reported Thicke to authourities after they discovered spank marks on his son’s body prompting an investigation against the singer. His ex-wife is capitalizing on the incident to limit Thicke’s access to their son.
Thicke however denied any wrongdoing: “On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.” – he told authourities.
The court has however denied Patton’s request for sole custody of the child.

Shatta Wale unfollows everyone on Instagram except Burnaboy and baby mama

Ghana reggae singer / rapper Shatta Wale has unfollowed everyone from his Instagram page leaving only Burna Boy and his baby mama who goes by the name Mama Shatta Michy.
Shatta is not the only celebrity to unfollow everyone on Instagram.
Timaya did the same thing earlier and so did American rapper Future .

This evening, actress Tonto Dikeh, removed her husband’s name, Churchill from her IG handle, fueling speculations that their marriage is in crisis. The C in the middle there is her middle name, Charity. Tonto also removed Yummy wife/mum which used to be on her profile. TMZ has learnt that it was a fight during Nicki Minaj's birthday vacation at Turks and Caicos that led to her break up with Meek Mill. According to an insider who spoke with the website, Nicki was angry because Meek was hanging with his friends and not paying attention to her. This led to a fight and later resulted to a breakup. Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill broke up after a nuclear fight during her birthday weekend last month ... and it wasn't about cheating.

Sources close to the ex-couple tell us ... they weren't getting along in Turks and Caicos, because he was hanging with friends and not paying attention to her. She went nuts on him, he got pissed and left the island without her, and she said, "Screw this," and ended the relationship. Just that simple.
There are reports Meek had been cheating with a woman named Sonye Rasool and that's what set off Nicki. Sonye claims she and Meek hooked up years before Nicki, but fully denies any cheating and adds ... she's about to file defamation lawsuits against several outlets.
She also says she understands truth is a defense, but has no fear.
It's interesting ... the breakup appears to be over the small stuff, which makes you wonder if the door is still open.

A wedding billed to happen on 29th December 2016 was cancelled by the man Izuchukwu Ekweanua who took to Facebook to announce to his friends. The traditional and white wedding was supposed to happen at Nnewi but got cancelled.
The next day, the bride-to-be, Frances Uchechukwu Obi, took to Facebook to announce the cancellation of the wedding. When friends started to ask why the wedding was called off, a man who claimed to be the lady's cousin accused her of still seeing another man days before the wedding. Rihanna not happy about Drake and J.Lo dating rumours

There had been rumours making the rounds that rapper/singer Drake who just turned 30 and sensational diva JLo (47) are dating as the latter had pulled out of a New Year’s Eve $1million gig at Miami’s E11EVEN nightclub so she can have some ‘family and personal’ time. Sources close to JLo say, “he (Drake) would be in Vegas and she wants to be with him.” The love-struck pair are denying it, claiming to be working on a music collaboration. They have been seeing each other for a number of weeks and her friends are saying she is already smitten over the Canadian star. The rapper paid a visit to her Las Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino not once, but twice in one week.

Meanwhile people in Rihanna’s circle say she is not so happy about the fact that Drake and JLo are an item. Sources close to Kanye West and his wife Kim have disclosed the couple having hard a rough 2016 has decided to go for a couple’s therapy session. The source while speaking with DailyMail said, “They’re actually doing better. It was obviously a bit tough when everything went down and it was confusing with the stuff going on. But they’re doing better now,”

The source further had this to say, “Kim is so in love with him and love can be blinding sometimes—she just adores him and the family loves him as well. It’s a situation that she’s giving another shot, a second chance. She feels he’s been under a lot of pressure, so she feels like he deserves another shot. They had a heart-to-heart about it and Kim is still deeply in love with him.”
This is coming on the heels of rumours that Kim wanted a divorce from Yezzy. Her close pal and BFF Jonathan Cheban was quick to debunk the rumours. The source continued by revealing that Kim is actually supportive of her hubby and said it’s all about their kids.
“Kim told me, ‘It’s not just about me, it’s about the kids’. So she wants to make it work. The only issue right now is he needs more time to recover and get better so she wants to wait and see how it goes.” the source concluded.

While rumors swirl that the two are headed for a breakup after two years of marriage, one source has put an axe in such claims. According to someone close to Kardashian's legal team, reports of Kim wanting to file for divorce are inaccurate. "I know for a fact that's not true,'" the source said.

Still, like any couple, their recent individual personal struggles have been a burden to bear for the both of them. "It's been a very hard couple of months," a family source told E! News. 
"She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him," the sourced said of Kim. Still, after managing her own trauma from Paris, supporting her husband and mothering her two children has become a balancing act.
