Singer Robin Thicke accused of child abuse amidst divorce battle

Singer Robin Thicke‘s actress ex-wife Paula Patton has filed for a restraining order limiting Thicke’s access to their 6 year old son, citing child abuse.
The son’s school had reported Thicke to authourities after they discovered spank marks on his son’s body prompting an investigation against the singer. His ex-wife is capitalizing on the incident to limit Thicke’s access to their son.
Thicke however denied any wrongdoing: “On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage.” – he told authourities.
The court has however denied Patton’s request for sole custody of the child.
