Veteran singer, Tuface has for the first time reacted to his wife, Annie Idibia, and her family's messy fight with his family.

The actress, her family members, and her husband's siblings had a heated exchange that resulted in "wild allegations" last weekend.

Tuface spoke up after his wife was heard in an audio recording threatening to "scatter everything". In the audio, she accused the singer of lying to her and reiterated that his family doesn't like her and has made her life hellish.

She said;

“I am going to scatter everything. Nobody knows the wrath of an angry woman. I ruin everything. Hello, Idibia family, this is Annie. Today, everything was peaceful nothing happened.
“My husband told me he had a shoot today only for him to pack his things and his stupid cousin, Franky helped him plan it. His family does not love me, they hate me.
“They have been giving me headache for the last 10 years. Today, my husband lied to me; he packed his things that he was going for a shoot but he is on his way to America.
“This was planned by himself, … and Franky — all behind my back. I don’t deserve this, I don’t. I know this is not your business but I can’t call any member of his family.
“I can’t even call his manager, he would not pick my call because he thinks I am standing in his way. My husband is on his way to America without telling me…I’m done.”

Tuface who has now reacted to the messy fight which has taken several turns in the last few days stated that though bringing their personal issues to social media was not cool, he will however not sit back and watch everybody have a free for all battle in the name of love or solidarity.

He urged everyone including their families and supporters to respect their privacy and their kids as they deal with the issue internally. The singer also turned off the comment section of the Instagram post.

Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia has fled from his matrimonial home to the United States of America.

This is according to his wife, Annie who has threatened to 'scatter everything' over his trip.

In a leaked audiotape released on social media on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, the movie star said 2Face told her he was travelling for a shoot.

Annie, while weeping in the leaked audio said her husband didn't go for a shoot. Rather in conjunction with his cousin, Frank and his manager, Efe Omorogbe, the music star travelled to the United States of America.

She also revealed that her husband was travelling to the United States of America to visit one of his baby mamas, Pero Adeniyi.

Presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has weighed in on the crisis rocking the marriage of singer 2face Idibia and his actress wife, Annie.

On Thursday night, Annie via her Instastories called out 2face for sleeping in the same apartment with Pero, the mother of his three children.

As Nigerians continue to debate over the crisis, Adamu made a video in which he gave his two cents. He said

”I will want to advice him to tow our path of polygamy. There is no reason why you have a wife, I cannot call her a baby mama, with all due respect. This woman has three children, two sons and a daughter.

If not for negligence from his own side, Pero should have been his first wife then Annie can be the second wife.

But to the best of my knowledge, the best solution for 2face now is to quickly accelerate the process of bringing Pero as a wife into the family, maybe as the first wife because by right I think she is the first wife.

2face should marry Pero and bring her into the family and you can see the perfect stability from Annie’s side. She will never come online again and rant because women traditionally, without polygamy you can’t keep them, that is why we are polygamous.

That is why people like us have two and we are thinking of having the third and the fourth one”
