Drake owned the year on Spotify: He’s the most streamed act on the platform with 4.7 billion streams. Spotify has released their year-end charts, revealing the most-streamed artists, songs, and albums on
their platform in 2016. Drake is the most streamed artist, with over 4.7 billion streams. Views is the most-streamed album, with 2.45 billon streams, and
“One Dance” is the most-streamed songs, with 970 million streams. Drake’s dominance on Spotify’s 2016 charts was
forecasted earlier this year. In May, Spotify announced that he had topped Bieber as its most played artist, and in October, they announced that“One Dance” was the most streamed song in the history of the platform.
