Tony Elumelu and Bill Gates meet in France (photos)

Nigerian Business man, Tony Elumelu met with his Billionaire counterpart, Bill Gates at the Le Cub l Economie in France where they both spoke about the new role of global philanthropy and its increasing influence on business, politics and culture.

Speaking at the event organized by leading French newspaper, Le Monde, Tony Elumelu who is the Chairman of Heirs Holdings and United Bank for Africa, wrote on his Facebook page:

I called for more "structured philanthropy" in Africa, especially targeting young entrepreneurs with great potential, and invited French investors and the larger global development community to join the Tony Elumelu Foundation in supporting thousands of African startups that are already transforming our continent for good.
