Channels TV Chairman, John Momoh elected BON Chairman

Chairman of Channels Media Group, owners of Channels TV, John Momoh was today elected the new Chairman of the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria, (BON). The election took place at the organization's annual delegate conference in Abuja.

Momoh beat his opponent by polling 51 votes against Abbas Dalhatu from Freedom Radio, Kano who scored 12 votes. This is the first time a private television media owner would be occupying this position. Congrats to him.
