DELSU Best Graduating Student offered automatic employment as a lecturer in the institution

The best graduating student of Delta State University (DELSU), Ossaiugbo Ifeanyi Marcus, who graduated with the cumulative aggregate of 4.68 from the department of Mathematics and Computer Science - was offered automatic employment as a lecturer in the institution & an overseas scholarship to pursue his postgraduate program.


The Vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Victor Peretomode, who announced this at the school’s 10th convocation in Abraka, also assured him that the institution would bear the full cost of his overseas post graduate studies.

According to him, the university would, in compliance with the university’s vision and mission statement, continue to provide qualitative education in terms of research and innovations, teaching and learning to its students and the society in general.
